The time crunch is upon us! With just over a month to go before we set our boat on the water, there is still a lot to do. Right now we are in the middle of figuring out and planning our menu. We do have some challenges with our food due to dietary restrictions. Kristina eats a strict gluten and dairy free diet. It makes planning both challenging and exciting. There's lots of new ideas to be tried. If anyone has any super camp food ideas that they have had success with in the past and feel like sharing, please do! Either on the "Contact Us" Portion of our website or at email@example.com. On that note, we would love to hear from anyone regardless!
There are a lot of stressors that are sorted out which makes planning a little easier on the stress levels. We have a route officially sorted. We're still tweaking our knowledge of said route, but it does make us feel better to know where we're going! We even have maps of our route sorted, and more on the way! We have been networking with some great people who have completed similar trips in the past, and they are proving to be amazing resources. No one knows better than those that have been there!
Dehydrating food is high on the priority list at the moment. Kristina has one she's got in full swing, and when the Jasper/Hinton area finally gets some back in stock, hopefully Angela will jump on the ball too!
